Day 1 Overnight Flight

 Day 1: Overnight Flight  You’re on your way to experience Europe in full bloom. From classic  English gardens and the iconic Chelsea Flower Show to the once-adecade Floriade expo and canals of Amsterdam, you’ll discover how  the roots of horticulture run deep through England and the  Netherlands and connect the world.

Day 2: London, England - Tour Begins  Welcome to London, a sophisticated metropolis with a timelessmeets-modern style all its own. Its bustling streets are lined with  beautiful gardens, world-famous museums, and historic landmarks.  Take some time to get to know the city before joining your fellow  travellers for some traditional English fare at tonight’s welcome  dinner. (D) 

Day 3:  London  Start the day with a local guide and take in London’s quintessential  sights. After lunch on your own, it’s your choice! Tour Kensington  Palace, the residence of royals like Queen Victoria and Princess  Diana -OR- explore the vast collections of art spanning more than  5,000 years at the Victoria & Albert Museum. (B)

Day 4:  London - Chelsea Flower Show  Enliven your senses and experience the vibrance of the Chelsea  Flower Show. With a variety of hands-on exhibits, peaceful miniretreats, and a seemingly endless array of flowers, discover for  yourself why this expo is considered one of the premier events in all  of horticulture. (B, D) 

Day 5:  London - Kent – London  Head out of the city to Kent – often referred to as “the Garden of  England” – to explore Sissinghurst Castle Garden, one of England’s  most renowned gardens. Spend an afternoon discovering the distinct  planting design, gleaming with blooms and greenery, before returning  to London for an evening at leisure. (B)

Day 6:  London - Amsterdam, Netherlands  Hop aboard the sleek, futuristic Eurostar High Speed Train and set  out for the narrow canals and bike-brimmed lanes of Amsterdam.  Upon arrival, settle into your hotel for a relaxing three-night stay. (B) 

Day 7:  Amsterdam  See the city’s famous architecture from a unique perspective as you  cruise its canals, passing under picturesque bridges and by iconic  Dutch houses. Afterward, explore Amsterdam’s rich culinary  heritage on a locally led food tour. (B, L) 

Day 8:  Amsterdam - Floriade  Once a decade, people from all corners of the globe gather at Floriade  to celebrate horticulture on an epic scale. Spanning 148 acres, the  expo’s grounds are teeming with vibrant colour and countless shades  of green. Explore the numerous exhibits and discover the role that  living flora and fauna play in our modern world. Gather this evening  for dinner at a local restaurant and look back fondly at memories  made and toast to newly blooming friendships. (B, D) 

Day 9:  Amsterdam - Tour Ends  Your tour through England and the Netherlands comes to a close  today. (B)
